Five years ago, the government established the Women's Enterprise Fund as a flagship project within the Kenya Vision 2030 framework. The Fund serves an important role in addressing the various social, economic and cultural factors that exclude women from mainstream economic activity.
In the last couple of weeks, the fund has been running a vigorous campaign, calling on Kenyan women to GET UP, GET OUT and TAKE ACTION. The fund has over 500million that it needs to disburse to 60,000 women before 30/6/2013. Spread the word. http://www.wef.co.ke/
